Bergström’s clock have delivered and maintained the world’s leading brands for 60 years.
Bertil Bergström started as an apprentice at Söderlund’s Clock in Uppsala, where he served at Sweden’s largest church bell, Storan in Uppsala Cathedral.
Just a few years later, in 1953, he opened a store named after himself. At that time, the range was not as great as the love for it, but thanks to a distinct sense of service, the company grew.
In 1985 Bergströms Ur becomes the first retailer of Rolex in Uppsala and five years later also authorized distributor of Breitling.
In 2003 Bergströms Ur take over Rolex dealer Douglas Krook’s store at Östra Hamngatan 43 in Gothenburg, and the range is expanded to jewelry and they become authorized dealers of Bvlgari and Chopard. The store becomes a leading player on the west coast.
In 2005 Begströms Ur opens in Malmö and the shop is in direct connection with their own authorized watchmaking workshop.
The first store is still in Uppsala today and run by the son, who continues to convey his father’s service focus.
